Child Passenger Safety - Wisconsin car seat laws
Statistics suggest 3 out of 4 child safety seats are not used correctly. The correct installation of child safety seats is often very confusing to parents, grandparents and caregivers. Changing technology in vehicles and child safety seats adds to this confusion.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation offers education, training and other resources on child passenger safety for the general public, health and law enforcement agencies.
