Dog Licensing The owner of a dog(s) more than five (5) months of age on January 1 of any year or five (5) months of age within the license year must pay for and obtain a license. License year runs from January 1 thru December 31. Licenses for the year are generally available by the third week in December. Any license not purchased by March 31 of any year will be charged a late fee of $5.00 unless it is a new dog. Registration fee is $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog and $11.00 for un-spayed or un-neutered dog. RABIES VACCINATION is required in order to register your dog. You may mail your license fee along with the rabies vaccination certificate and self-addressed stamped envelope to the Grand Chute Town Hall, 1900 Grand Chute Boulevard, Grand Chute, WI 54913-9613 or come into the Town Hall. If the rabies certificate does not include the name, color, sex, proof of sterilization or breed of the dog, be sure to include that. Your rabies vaccination certificate(s) and dog tag(s) will be returned to you. All dogs in the Town of Grand Chute must be kept leashed and in their owners yard at all times. Dogs should be leashed when being walked and all droppings removed from street right of ways as well as private property. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.
