Part-time firefighters are recruited and trained on an annual basis through an internal application process. The minimum requirements for our part-time firefighter positions include the following criteria:
At least 18 years of age.
Possession of a valid Wisconsin State driver’s license.
No convictions for any felony or serious misdemeanor.
While previous training and experience is not required, certification as a State of Wisconsin Firefighter I and EMT is preferred (will need to obtain).
