 The Grand Chute Fire Department provides all-hazards emergency response and risk reduction services to a population of 23,964 Fox Valley residents occupying a twenty-three square-mile area. In addition to a diverse distribution of single- and multi-family dwellings, business, and industry, Grand Chute is home to the Fox River Mall and retail corridor, as well as the main campus of Fox Valley Technical College, bringing the estimated daytime population to 35,000-40,000. This robust response area is served by two stations staffed 24 hours a day by a total combination of approximately 40 career and part-time fire personnel answering nearly 3,000 emergency calls for service annually.
