In addition to typical police services, the Grand Chute Police Department offers various services to the community to help carry out our mission. Some services the agency provides include:
Fingerprinting
The Grand Chute Police Department provides fingerprinting services to citizens who need to submit their prints for employment, background, adoption, etc. Fingerprint services are provided during the following hours:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (excluding holidays)
11:00 am to 1:00 pm, based on availability of a Community Resource Officer.
Fingerprinting is available as a walk-in service. No appointments are necessary.
**Photo ID is required**
Fees associated with this service:
$25.00 per person (includes up to 2 cards)
Additional cards are $10.00 each
*The Grand Chute Police Department uses the standard FBI Fingerprint Form (FD-258) and is not responsible if submitted cards are rejected by the receiving agency. Citizens are encouraged to bring their own cards or confirm the FD-258 form is acceptable for the receiving/requesting agency.
Vacation House Checks
Going on Vacation? The Grand Chute Police Department will assign a Community Service Officer to periodically check the outside of your home, looking for anything out of place or suspicious. Speed Trailer / Selective Enforcement for Traffic Problems
The Grand Chute Police Department will place the Speed Board in areas where issues of speeding vehicles are present. Follow this link for more information.
Selective Enforcement to Address Quality of Life/Nuisance Complaints
Healthy quality of life is important to Grand Chute residents and the Grand Chute Police Department acts quickly to address public nuisance complaints. McGruff the Crime Dog
McGruff the Crime Dog, a crime prevention mascot known for his tagline, "Help take a bite out of crime," is often looking for opportunities to make public appearances. If you are planning an event and would like McGruff the Crime Dog to attend, please contact Sgt. Jen Clement at the police department (920) 832-1575. We recommend requests be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event.
Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
The Grand Chute Police Department provides expert security advice at no cost; just call Community Resource Officer Dylan Davis at 920-832-1575 or by email at dylan.davis@grandchutewi.gov to make an appointment. We will conduct an on-site security survey and advise you on effective, low- or no-cost ways to deter criminals and make your property less vulnerable to crime.
