Mar. 1, 2023 - COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDER SURVEY RELEASED
Strategic Plan Update Underway
The Grand Chute Fire Department is inviting all who live, work, and play in the Town of Grand Chute to complete a short survey to contribute their feedback to a strategic plan update. The department is developing a new 5-year strategic plan to ensure its organizational mission, vision, and values remain consistent with the priorities of those they serve. The first step in this process is to gather community input from the diverse stakeholders in the town – residents, business owners, employees of the businesses, and visitors. The online survey will be open through March 31, 2023, after which strategic initiatives and objectives that align with community stakeholder responses and internal stakeholder input will be established.
The internationally accredited Grand Chute Fire Department provides paramedic-level emergency medical service, fire suppression, all-hazards rescue, and risk reduction services to the Town’s 23,964 residents and daytime population of approximately 40,000 people that includes visitors and employees in the Town’s retail, industrial, and recreational spaces. The municipality is served by 2 fire stations with combined daily staffing of 10 firefighters and supported by 4 administrative staff members. The dedicated people of the Grand Chute Fire Department answered more than 3,000 emergency calls for service in 2022, an increase of nearly 35% over the last 5 years.
