Grand Chute Fire Department Remembers
Saturday morning starting at 8:55AM, the Grand Chute Fire Department Honor Guard, personnel, and special guests will remember and pay tribute to the lives lost on September 11th, 2001, and the ways that everyone’s lives changed as a result of the events of that day. The public is welcome to join the members of the Grand Chute Fire Department in Never Forgetting.
The guest speaker for the ceremony will be Mr. John Reilly. In 2001, Mr. Reilly was employed by Morgan Stanley in the Fox Valley and was sent to New York for three weeks of training, which started on September 10th. On September 11th, Mr. Reilly was located in the South Tower (WTC#2) when hijacked United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the south face of the tower at 9:03AM. The South Tower would collapse 56 minutes later.
